Product testing is a fun way to preview new products and try them out from the comfort of your own home. If you register with an online market research company who offers product testing opportunities, you may one of the lucky ones who can participate in this fun type of market research.

Incentives for participating in product testing vary, but often the product itself can be kept or a paid incentive is offered.

Many new and exciting products are testing by consumers through product testing. For example, the Opinion Outpost had some of its members test the new iPad! This gave Apple the opportunity to get feedback from actual consumers and work out any kinks the product may have had.

Product testing is one of the many fun ways to participate in market research. Online surveys, focus groups, mystery shopping, and telephone surveys are all ways you can get involved and shape the future with your opinions.
