Hotspex Panel Information

Hotspex Global Panels is comprised of over 4 million households in over 40 different countries. Since 2002, members have completed more than 2 million surveys and over 8 million quick polls. Hotspex’s head office is located in Toronto and they spend more money, pro rata, on developing new research methodologies than any other research company on the planet!

To get started with Hotspex is very simple: fill out the registration form, confirm your registration by clicking on the link in the confirmation e-mail Hotspex sends you, and from here on in Hotspex will contact you via e-mail every time an online survey is available for you to complete. The survey invitation e-mail will tell you the topic of the survey, approximately how long it will take you to complete as well as what your reward will be for participating in the survey.

Payment Information

Hotspex offers its panelists the opportunity to earn Hotspex BUX for taking surveys. In exchange, Hotpsex offers its members the option of using their points towards three different things: Gift Card XChange, the HotPot, or the Charity XChange.

The Hotspex HotPot is a monthly 50/50 draw where the final prize amount (in Hotspex BUX) is determined by the number of contributors. Every monthly Hotspex will load up the HotPot with 10,000 Bux and then members are able to place their own Hotspex Bux into the pot. At the end of the month, one winner who has contributed to the HotPot will win half the BUX balance. The other half will be donated to a featured charity of the winner’s choosing.

The Gift Card XChange, VIP Members (those who have completed at least 5 e-mail invitations since registering with myHotspex) can redeem their BUX for gift cards. Gift card retailers include Amazon, eBay, WalMart, Target, iTunes, and more. Conversion amounts equal: 1100 BUX = a $10 gift certificate. Gift cards are mailed.

New! VIP Members can now also redeem their BUX for cash paid via PayPal. Payments are made to member PayPal accounts within 1-2 weeks.

The Charity XChange allows members to use their BUX to donate to various featured charities. You may donate your BUX directly, or you may make a more specific donation such as donating 2500 to spay/neuter a cat.

Hotspex also offers a monthly draw where members can win cash prizes. As long as at least one online survey has been completed per month, members have a chance of winning. Winners will be contacted via e-mail. Monthly draw amounts are typically $100-$500 and there are typically 1-5 winners.
